After being discovered, signed, and mentored by Eazy‑E through Ruthless Records, the group became an integral part of the West Coast sound throughout the 1990s.

Their rapid-fire delivery, melodic harmonies, and spiritual undertones brought something entirely new to hip-hop — blending Midwest roots with West Coast influence in a way that changed the genre. Under Eazy-E’s guidance, Bone Thugs helped define an era and earned their place alongside the legends of the coast.
